Court Orders Gani Adams to Pay N100m as Damages for Libel An Abuja High Court today ruled that the factional leader of the Odua People’s Congress (OPC), Gani Adams, should pay the sum of N100 million as damages in a libel suit filed against him. Founder and leader of OPC, Dr. Frederick Fasehun, had in 2013 slammed an N11 billion suit against the Independent Communications Network Limited (Publishers of PM News and the News Magazine) and Adams for defamatory and libelous publication against him in the News Magazine. Boko Haram: NGO Donates N10m to IDPs, Empowers 1,000 Farmers in Borno In its resolved to provide succour and help those hitherto displaced by the Boko Haram insurgents in the North-east region,  a non-governmental organisation (NGO), Peace Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Initiative (PRRI), has donated N10 million to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State.
