Former Vice President Namadi Sambo on Tuesday visited Aso Rock where he held a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
He arrived a few minutes to noon and headed straight to the president’s office and the meeting lasted for 25 minutes.
He refused to take questions from reporters therafter, simply saying “my meeting was private”.
This left reporters guessing if Sambo is planning to back the re-election of Buhari and defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sambo was governor of Kaduna state from 2007 to 2010 before he was appointed vice-president by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2010, a position he held till 2015 when they were defeated by Buhari.
