Airtel Nigeria has been adjudged the ‘Most
Outstanding Customer-Centric Telecoms Brand of the Year’ at the Marketing Edge
2016 Brands and Advertising Excellence Award and Annual Summit recently.
Vice President, Brands and Advertising, Airtel
Nigeria, Enitan Denloye, received the award on behalf of the company’s Managing
Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Segun Ogunsanya.
The award, according to Airtel, was represented by
the Chief Executive Officer, Rockcity FM, Dr. Niran Malaolu.
While reciting the citation, the organisers
commended Airtel’s consistency in delivery exceptional customer service
experience to Nigerians. The company’s citation highlighted its persistence in
exciting customers with world-class services, noting that Airtel is committed to
remain the most loved brand in Nigerian.
With the themed: ‘Brand Building in a Digital Age:
Challenges in a Developing Market,’ the event which was held in Lagos with
notable Nigerians in attendance such as Nigeria’s advertising titan, Ted
Mukoro; Sir Steve Omojafor; former Chairman of APCON, Chris Doghuje, veteran
marketer and current non-executive Director at Nigerian Bottling Company, Laolu
Akinkugbe, commended Airtel’s commitment to service delivery.
