President Buhari’s Plane Leaves London To Arrive in Abuja By 4pm
The presidential jet conveying ailing President Muhammadu Buhari has left the United Kingdom, en route Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
The President’s Jet, Eagle One, left the UK at 10:27 am Saturday and is expected to land at about 4pm Nigerian time.
The president left the country on May 7 for his medical attention in London, after handing over to his deputy, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as Acting President.
According to the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, while disclosing the president return, stated that his principal would address the country and its citizens next Monday.
Meanwhile, Adesina and his colleague, Garba Shehu, and some other aides are already at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport, Abuja.
The governor of Bauchi state, Mohammed Abubakar, is also there waiting for Buhari’s arrival, even as journalists are on the ground to capture the arrival of the President.
Supporters of the president, who were prevented from gaining access to the presidential wing of the airport, are singing and dancing in the surrounding area.
