The leadership of the Nigeria Intervention Movement (NIM) has directed its over two million Members and Allies across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria and the Diaspora to observe three hours love sessions towards the movement's 2019 PVC Revolution today (Wednesday) to mark this year's love day
According to a statement by NIM’s Head of Publicity, Hajia Fatima Bako, the Deputy Director General of NIM in charge of Media and Publicity, Mallam Naseer Kura,made this disclosure in Abuja to kick off preparations for the engagement of Voters Registration and the Official Launch of the group scheduled to hold next month in Abuja.
"We wish to request our members, allies and sympathisers in all our branches in the 36 states of the federation, the Federal Capital Territory and in Diaspora to consciously observance a three hours solidarity for NiM and our electoral agenda for 2019 tagged 2019 PVC electoral revolution by eschewing any for provocative or hate messages, while visibly engaging other Nigerians to register to be eligible to participate in the 2019 PVC Revolution in Nigeria,” Kura said
Kura said also used the occasion to announce the names of members of a National Task Force to engage the ongoing Nation-wide Voters Registration exercise in the country as well as the group's forthcoming national Voter's summit and Official Launch.
The members include Prof Pat Utomi; Dr AbdulJhalil Tafawa Balewa; Dr Olu Agunloye; Mr Buba Galadima; Hon Mrs Nkoyo Toyo; Comrade Isah Aremu; Hajia Aisha Aliyu; Mallam Naseer Kura; Hon Uche Onyegocha; Chief Debe Odumegwu Ojukwu; Comrade Najeem Usman; Mr Alistar Soyode; Dr Chris Ekiyor and Hajia Khairat Animashaun Ajiboye as Secretary
He however implored the leadership of the Independent National Electoral commission, INEC to urgently put in place adequate logistic and man power to ease the difficulty presently being experienced by Nigerians who are daily making efforts to register to vote in the 2019 elections
