In the spirit of fairness and improved working relationship between the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC),Dr. Maikanti Baru, and the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, the NNPC boss on Monday visited the Lagos residence of the minister to commiserate with him over the unfortunate fire incident that occurred in his Abuja home.
It was gathered exclusively that Baru, who arrived in Lagos in the evening, drove straight to the Ikoyi home residence of Kachikwu in a long convoy.
It was learnt that on reaching Kachikwu's residence at exactly 6.02p.m, the NNPC boss and his aides went inside the premises with a convoy of three vehicles, while seven other vehicles on the convoy waited outside the gate.
Investigation, however, revealed that the NNPC boss and his entourage did not meet the minister and left exactly at 6.07p.m.
One of the minister's domestic aides, who spoke of the record, told Yellowstone that the minister had left his Lagos home earlier in the day to an unknown destination.
