Buhari Visits Ebonyi, Inaugurates 700m African Trans-Sahara Flyover From Enugu To Cameroon


President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday inaugurated  the 700 metres length of the Dr. Akanu Ibiam Twin Flyover Bridges over the African Trans-Sahara route running from Enugu to Cameroon.
Buhari, who is on a one day official visit to Ebonyi State arrived Abakaliki, the state capital, at exactly 11:15 am on Tuesday.
He was received on arrival by the State Governor, David Umahi and Wife Rachel; the Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu; Ex-Governor Martin Elechi and other top dignitaries from within and outside the state.
He proceeded to Commission 14.5 Kilometer Abakaliki-Afikpo Road, a Federal Road reconstructed by the state government and Senator Offia Nwali Flyover.
He also unveiled the Statue of Dr. Akanu Ibiam and also laid the foundation stone for Ebonyi City Mall, foundation stone for President Muhammadu Buhari Flyover Bridge/Road Tunnel.
