Ijebu Awujale Charges Abiodun to Address Bad Roads in Ogun if Elected

Paramount ruler and Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Tuesday endorsed the Ogun State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Dapo Abiodun, and tasked him to urgently address deplorable roads in Ijebuland and other parts of the state if elected the next governor of the state.

Speaking in his palace in Ijebu-Ode when Abiodun paid him a courtesy call in company of former state Governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba; Senator Dipo Odujinrin, Senator Gbenga Obadara, Senator Gbenga Kaka, state Chairman of the party, Chief Yemi Sanusi; Dr. Femi Majekodunmi and other chieftains of the party on his second day house-to-house campaign tour of Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area, the monarch lamented the poor roads condition in almost all parts of the state.

He noted that the roads are in bad shapes, therefore, require immediate attention to rehabilitate them for ease movement of people and goods from one location to another.

Besides, Oba Adetona urged Abiodun to cash in on the opportunities offered by the proximity of Ogun State to Lagos and synergise for the growth and development of the state.

Also, Osoba called for the support of the people of Ogun East to ensure the APC governorship candidate is elected as the next governor of the state.
