Fresh Breed Leaders under the aegis of Nigeria  Intervention Movement (NIM), a mass political movement, which recently, along with seven presidential aspirants coalesce with a new political party, Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), have announced their resolve to rally every like-minded democrat, especially credible elements who were schemed out of the national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in order to oust the President Muhammadu Buhari government in 2019.

While x-raying fallouts from the convention of the APC, which was dismissed as a complete sham by the movement, the National Publicity Secretary of NIM, Mallam Nasser Kura, in a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, averred that the just-concluded national convention of the APC was a prove that APC government has got nothing again to offer Nigeria's democracy and Nigerians based on the “manifest undemocratic and coercive conducts which characterised the national convention.”

According to the statement, "The leadership of NIM has therefore become more resolute than ever before to provide a truly cohesive leadership for the Nigerian people to oust the APC shenanigan and impunity inflicted on Nigerians in 2019.

“Therefore, our national secretariat has already slated serious mobilisation and consultations to rally major political gladiators and dissatisfied compatriots in major political parties towards sealing a formidable grand electoral alliance for the 2019 elections once and for all.

"We are further enamoured by the fact that the move to rally the 2019 grand coalition of credible leaders into a fresh breed third force movement anchored on the ANN has been endorsed by all the leaders initially consulted by the national steering committee of NIM under the leadership of eminent human rights, Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) and the son of former Prime Minister of Nigeria, Dr Abdujalil Tafawa Balewa.

"Some of the major players expected to be consulted are former leaders of Nigeria, front line presidential aspirants, national chairmen of major political parties in the country and aggrieved political gladiators schemed out of the national convention of both the PDP and APC among others.

"The consultative process to canvass the coming together of all dissatisfied credible leaders on the platform of ANN has been scheduled to commence in Abuja on July 3 in Abuja with a major political interface to be hosted by the Nigerian human rights and civil society community."
