Nwoye Wins Anambra APC Governorship Primary Defeats Uba, Others

Tony Nwoye has won the  All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries in Anambra State.
He defeated Senator Andy Uba, George Moghalu, and nine others to emerge the candidate of the party in the gubernatorial race slated for November 18.
In a peaceful and apparently transparent primary, Nwoye polled a total of 2,146 votes to clinch the ticket.
His closest rival, Uba got 931 votes while Moghalu polled a total of 525 votes to come third in the race.
A former Minister for Power, Prof Barth Nnaji, who also contested, came fourth as he polled 414 votes.
