FOREIGN: North Korea Says President Trump Has 'Declared War'

North Korea's foreign minister said US President Donald Trump has "declared war" on his country and threatened to shoot down US jets in international airspace.
Ri Yong Ho said the "declaration of war" meant North Korea could target US bombers.
He said: "The question of who won't be around much longer will be answered then."
That was a reference to Mr Trump's recent indication on Twitter that the North Korean foreign minister, and leader Kim Jong-un "won't be around much longer".
Speaking outside a hotel in New York Mr Ri said: "Trump claimed our leadership would not be around much longer. He declared a war on our country."
"All the member states (of the United Nations) and the whole world should clearly remember it was the United States that first declared war on our country.
Image result for Trump"Since the United States declared war on our country, we will have every right to take counter-measures including the right to shoot down US strategic bombers even when they are not yet inside the airspace border of our country.
The latest rhetoric came after North Korean state media has released a video depicting the destruction of US aircraft and warships.
That 99-second clip was released on Sunday hours after two US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers flew off the coast of North Korea in a show of force.

Drug Insecurity: House Urges FG to Fund Indigenous Drug Research

The House of Representatives on Tuesday urged the federal government to invest more in the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development in order to encourage local and indigenous research. The House also urged the government to revisit the National Drug Policy as a way to promote and boost the medical industry. Court Stops National Assembly From Taking Over Bauchi Assembly

As the National Assembly received a report from the committee it sent to Bauchi State to probe the leadership crisis rocking the state assembly since its inauguration last month, the state high court on Monday issued an order of interim injunction ordering that the present Speaker and Deputy Speaker, Abubakar Suleiman and Danlami Kawule respectively,   should continue leading the assembly pending the determination of the suit before it. Justice Muazu Abubakar, who issued the order, fixed October 3, 2019, for hearing of the motion and substantive application filed by the speaker, deputy speaker and other 11 members of the assembly who participated in the assembly election.
