President Buhari Arrives Nigeria From London

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday arrived in Nigeria from London.
The President’s aircraft landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Monday evening.
Signs of his impending arrival was visible with the presence of a mix of armed soldiers and policemen on the route from the airport to the Presidential Villa.
The President had left the country on September 17 to attend the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He, however, departed New York for London after attending the United Nations General Assembly.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, had revealed that the President will arrive in Nigeria on Monday.
Although, he did not state the reason for Buhari’s visit to London, there were speculations that the President had returned to London for medical reasons having spent about 160 days in London this year receiving medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
