2016 Lagos Social Media Week Begins Today...Powered by Airtel 
 

Airtel Nigeria has expressed its desire to throw its weight behind the Social Media Week (SMW) Lagos 2016 which started yeste
rday to February 26 at the Land Mark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
                       

With the theme of the event is ‘The Networked African: Technology’s Impact of Africa’, the five-day social media week provides a platform for experts and participants to interact, share ideas, brainstorm and discuss the impact of social media and technology on business, society and culture around the world.

With its innovative offerings on display at the venue of the event, Airtel will also host top bloggers and influencers at the media lounge.

 Commenting on its support to the event, the Chief Commercial Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Ahmed Mokhles, noted that the company is committed to developing digital technology as well as creating access for millions of Nigerians to connect with their friends, family members and business associates in line with one of its key objectives of becoming Nigeria’s number one mobile internet services provider.
